Maria’s (surfing+limited swimming)

Lovely stretch of beach. During the winter surf season, this is the best spot for beginner and intermediate surfers.  Breaks out to the right and to the left with a bit of a channel in between.  Generally flat in summer.  Reef break. In the past I would say this is not a swimming beach but a ton of sand has washed in and it's actually pretty accesible for swimmers, although there is a reef bottom once you are out a ways.
